A Good Day for Lasagna

It's a overcast and a little chilly so a hardy meal is in order! I will not be making said hardy meal but I will share a great recipe with you should you choose to make one :)

I made the Pioneer Woman's Lasagna for Girl's Night awhile back. I like this recipe because it uses cottage cheese instead of ricotta. This girl is not a fan of ricotta - bleck!

I substituted ground turkey and turkey sausage for the beef and breakfast sausage. I also subbed oven ready noodles for the kind you boil - such a time saver!

I mixed it up the night before which saved me from rushing around after work the next night. Here it is ready for the oven.

Voila - the finished product! So good! To print the recipe click here.

Not to worry the lasagna was not served alone, my friend Sarah contributed the yummy salad seen below and Daisi made some scrumptious cheesy bread which you can learn how to make here.

Mmmm...how I wish this dinner would magically appear on my table tonight! Hope you are all enjoying this fabulous weekend!
